Binge eating disorder is characterized by consuming large quantities of food in a very short period of time until the individual is uncomfortably full.

People who suffer with binge eating disorder do not use any form of purging after the binge. Usually these people can not control themselves during a binge, that is why afterwards they feel embarrassment and shame before other people and guilty towards themselves.

There are various of reasons for binge eating disorder. Usually it’s daily stress and problems, that’s way people use food as a way to cope with them and to comfort themselves.
