Have You Tried Honey and Cinnamon for Weight Loss?
If you have tried honey and cinnamon drink, please share your experience here. I’ll appreciate that very much.
I am curious to know is it effective for you?
How long have you been using honey and cinnamon, and what results you have by now?
I heard from my mom this weekend and she told me she been using it for about one week and has lost about 4 pounds already. She has a lot more to go to her goal weight, but she is very determined.
I will also try the honey and cinnamon drink as soon as I supply myself with honey. I already got the cinnamon and water
Yours truly,

I’ve never tried a cinnamon and honey drink, but I have started adding cinnamon to a lot of the stuff I eat. I’m not really on a diet but I’m adding extra cinnamon for the health benefits.

I started doing the honey cinnomon diet on march fifth and to date have lost 15 lbs and that is with all the while eating WHATEVER I want. I dont cut calories and I eat candy, ice cream, chocolate anything, I dont drink soda though, never really have. Anyway, I just had a baby and had only gained 20 lbs, I had lost the weight but was still really flabby…I am still a little flabby but its going away. Even my husband has noticed the difference. This really works, and the taste isnt too bad!!!

Hello,
This is really works, It starts with the fat that you already have and starts moving that out. Please be advised that you should not pour the boiling water over the raw honey as it will lose it’s enzymes and you will not have effective weightloss. Follow correctly and you will lose the weight. Here is the correct version of the receipe below:
Cinnamon and Honey formula for weight loss:
This should be prepared at night before going to bed.
1. Use 1 part cinnamon to 2 parts raw honey. 1/2 tsp cinnamon to 1 tsp honey is recommended but can use more or less as long as in the ratio of 1 to 2. — so 1 tsp cinnamon to 2 tsp raw honey is ok too as an example.
2. Boil 1 cup…that is 8 oz of water.
3. Pour water over cinnamon and cover and let it steep for 1/2 hour..(30 minutes)
4. Add honey now that it has cooled. Never add honey when it is hot as the heat will destroy the enzymes and other nutrients in the raw honey.
5. Drink 1/2 of this directly before going to bed. The other 1/2 should be covered and refrigerated.
6. In the morning drink the other half that you refirgerated…but do not re-heat it…drink it cold or at room temp only.
Do not add anything else to this recipe. No lemon, no lime, no vinegar. It is not necessary to drink it more time in a day…it is only effective on an empty stomach and primarily at night.
This works for most people. Inches are lost before any measurement on the scales. This program will cause significant inches lost…but you will reach a plateau and may not lose anymore. This is because the cinnamon and honey cause a cleansing effect in the digestive tract and cleans out parasites and other fungus and bacteria that slow down the digestion…causing a toxic build up. (Lowers pH) Once this is all cleaned out then you will most likely have the weight loss slow down.
Other side effects from a cleansing can occur because of toxins being released…if this occurs, cut back on how much you use or take a break.
Additionally people report increased energy, more sex drive, and feeling happier/mood enhancer.
*NOTE:The honey used needs to be REAL RAW UNPASTEURIZED HONEY. If it says PURE honey it is most likely pasteurized. It is best to only buy honey that says RAW or UNPASTEURIZED on the label. The difference is that the enzymes are all heated out of the pasteurized honey.

a friend just emailed me this diet and i am so excited to try it, i know its all natural, but are there any side effect to watch for?

Check out cassia cinnamon and coumarin on the internet for possible side effects. You might try Ceylon cinnamon instead.

I AM A LITTLE CONCERNED ABOUT USING UNPASTURISED HONEY FOR THE FEAR OF BOTULISM OR SALMONELLA.
ANYBODY HAVE ANY IDEAS. I HAD TRIED THIS DRINK FOR 2 WEEKS WITH NO RESULTS, SO I QUIT DOING IT. I AM THINKING ABOUT DOING IT AGAIN. WISH ME LUCK THIS TIME AROUND.
April 30th, 2008 at 5:47 am
Unpasturised honey is food straight from nature ans pasturisation destroyes a lot of the good stuff in it.
I mean how many cases of botulism or salmonella from honey have you actually heard. I always buy raw honey and nothing less. I am then sure to get maximum benefits from it and that is the enzymes it contains which is amylase and also propolis for antibacterial properties.
Something interesting that you might want to know is that when you spread raw honey on bread and leave on for a few minutes it starts digesting it for you.
Don’t be afraid of it be grateful and thank the next Bee you see.

I heard about this one week ago and tried it that night and the next morning. I have lost 3# so far. I joined WW and this added bit of information is giving me a new jump start in my weight loss experience. On days that I “cheat” like today, Mother’s Day, the honey and cinnamon tea settles an upset stomach too. It’s awesome.

Is natural honey raw honey?
June 4th, 2008 at 2:46 pm
I know it works… Cinnamon & honey is a very famous traditional Egyptian drink. Because of its benefits you can get it in every coffee shop in Egypt.
I’ve tried this diet multiple times & it has always worked for me. It’s really great before special occasion as you can see results fast [up to 3 kgs on the first week].
My Grandma & my mother drink cinnamon at least once a day since they were in their 30’s & they’ve always maintained a perfect weight this way.
The exact recipe is as follows:
Boil 250 ml of water, pour it in a container with a lid [a kettle], then add 1 teaspoon of cinnamon to the boiled water & cover for a few minutes [5 min.]. Pour in a glass then add 1 tablespoon of honey, stir & drink.
Also during the day, to overcome sweet cravings, you can try having the same cinnamon drink, but add some skimmed milk. You’ll be surprised how satisfied you’ll feel.
Other than weight loss, try the cinnamon drink as well during your menstruation, it acts as a painkiller as well as a uterine stimulant.

Hey People please do it exact way…I just read and did bt I forgotten that honey shoud be added in cold water not in boiling water. So I think results will be lesser….

I think that will work…

Hey I’m going to try this also. I really hope it works though cause no other diet has ever helped me. But do I add the honey before I filter or after? I know you guys said when it is cool but you didn’t say whether it was before or after. Thanks for all this advice.

I have been doing this for 3 days. I think my tummy looks thinner…is it my imagination.
July 28th, 2008 at 3:17 am
You know this sounds very interesting but there are too many methods listed here and how does one know who is correct - if any? I want to know why you just can’t have a spoonful of honey with cinnamon mixed in? Why the cool boiled water? Or just boiled water? Why enzymes with honey? How does that effect weight loss. Is there anything but rumor here? If so - does anyone have an actual source for how to go about it? (besides ancient egyptian lore)

I am confused to I don’t know which amount of each is correct. There are too many different mixtures. Does anyone know the right combination?
