Eat like a baby to lose weight and I don’t mean to eat any purees or other mashed vegetables like potatoes, carrots or pumpkins. What I mean is to eat as often as babies do and the way they do it – until they feel full and then stop opening their mouths for more. The only problem here is we can’t literally do eat the way babies do, but we can and will try our best to succeed.
For adults it takes about 20 minutes for the satiety center in your brain to register the feeling of fullness and to send out the signal to the hypothalamus gland *. After receiving the indication, the hypothalamus gland, which controls hunger, simply shuts your appetite and you don’t feel like eating or drinking anything more.
Here is the problem why we can’t literally eat like babies do – these 20 minutes for shutting down appetite are just too much for an adult. An adult, who by the way can eat, over eat and even over stuff oneself like a Thanksgiving turkey for those twenty minutes. For babies this reaction time is twice faster (more…)

Do you remember the herbal tea I was telling you about in my previous post? It was an all new experience for me – a weight loss tea with 17 all natural herbs inside. I was very eager to try it. Well, I did try it. It tasted not as great as I thought it would. Anyway I’ve been drinking it for 3 weeks now and I’m already seeing some results.
Although I am not sure if it’s the tea or the healthier foods we are eating but I already lost 2 kilograms with minimum exercising.

I did 20 minutes on the treadmill today and lost approximately 50 calories. I feel like walking 20 more minutes but it’ll be too much for a starter like me. I haven’t been exercising for quite long time and it’s not good to over exercise myself from the very first day.
Today I will also try a new weight loss herbal tea I just bought yesterday. It contains very rich herbal bouquet – 17 natural herbs. I hope it works and if it does I promise I’ll share all about my first herbal weight loss trial with you here at my blog.

I am using “addicted” and “addict” in the most casual sense and I am NOT in any way referring to an alcohol or drug addiction.
Protein Shake addict or just being on a Protein Shake diet?
If some of your friends are not aware that you are following a special diet plan like the Protein Shake Diet and yet they see you taking shakes all day long, then they might really think you are a protein supplements addict. Well, you probably would need to explain that you are not the newest bodybuilder on the block, and you are just on a meal replacement diet that replaces some or all of your daily meals with protein shakes.

Low fat and no fat smoothies are prefect for breakfast and afternoon snacks. In no more than 5 minutes you can make a delicious and healthy smoothie full of vitamins and nutrients that will be so satisfying that you will forget all about fatty chips, chocolate biscuits, sandwiches and other unhealthy snacks in-between main meals.
The low fat smoothie recipes I have listed below are really very quick to prepare – not more than 5 to 10 minutes – and do not require preliminary preparation of the ingredients (like boiling or else).
Here are a few low fat smoothie recipes you can easily prepare in no more than 5 minutes:

Easy and quick weight loss diet that delivers less than 1000 calories per day and makes you eat tuna at least once per day for three consecutive days.
You might say: “Hmmm, 3 day tuna diet….that sounds so familiar… just like any other 3 day ___ diet – just fill in the blank with any fruit, veggie or whatever food or meal comes to your mind.”
Anyway, don’t worry you don’t need to eat only tuna for three days. You eat mostly fruits, veggies, lean meat and simply add tuna to one the three daily meals. Drink water, tea and coffee without sugar.
You should be aware that the 3 day tuna diet is a very low calorie diet. It delivers less than 1000 calories per day, which is very likely to make angry any dieter who tries it. Starvation is part of the diet having in mind the portions and the calories per portion.

This is an easy to answer question. You should eat less calories than you burn. It means you must have calories deficit to lose weight. Many people become calorie maniacs as they are counting and calculating calories on a daily basis. I suggest you to stay away from calculators etc.
First there is a difference between k.C and calories. On some product labels, only kC are shown. You should be able to obtain the C cont in order to make a proper calculation.

Recently I stumbled upon some “interesting” article published in a popular articles network that criticizes Honey and Cinnamon for Weight Loss in a way that is so lame that I got really pissed. Obviously the article’s author has never read about the hundreds of people worldwide, who have lost pounds with the Honey and Cinnamon Drink and for those athletes who keep themselves in great shape using the Honey and The Hibernation Diet by Mike McInnes.
The author obviously hasn’t read anything from Mike McInnes – the creator of the Honey and The Hibernation Diet – who is explaining very thoroughly the exact effect of honey over human body: “Honey, prior to bed, optimizes liver glycogen plenitude via fructose and glucose uptake, honey activates sleep via insulin and melatonin, honey promotes optimal recovery (fat burning)…” so in fact honey optimizes liver glycogen plenitude, doesn’t rise it up to the sky like the article’s author claims.
