someones post said the honey was a definate requirement, why, what is it the honey does that the cinnamon doesnt, and what does the cinnamon do that the honey doesnt?
and is to much cinnamon or honey bad?
i can eat 5 tablespoons of cinnamon a day, i used put it on everything i ate.
and i agree with someones earlier post, the poeple saying its not working, are probly not excersizing properly, and are not watching what they eat, nothing in this world is effort free weight loss, it takes time and work, this is just an aid to help quicken results from a proper diet / excersize plan, and lifthing weights wont help you lose weight, you need to maintain 140+ heart rate for as long a periouds as possible, if your not in that good of shape, try for 3 10 min sessions a day, im in athletic shape, and just a more than average speed walk down the sidewalk will get me to 130 heart rate, checked with a chest strap, so its not hard to maintain the rate, jump rope puts me at 190 heart rate after 30 seconds. so if your very out of shape, just walking would be plenty at first. ive lost 25 pds so far just from cutting calories and cardio alone. hopeing this speeds up the process.
hope someone answeres the questions about the honey and cinnamon
thanks

I just started the honey/cinnamon tea. Adding to green tea is an excellent suggestion as green tea burns fat and speeds metabolism, as well as regulates blood sugars. So far today (first day) I noticed something really amazing. I had my tea, waited 30 minutes, then had my normal breakfast. EIGHT hours later, I just started to feel slightly hungry! I have low blood sugar and can normally only go 2 hours without food, but I felt great all day and didn't even think about food, and my energy was high! I'm looking forward to seeing what this tea does over the next week or so. By the way, this tea is also good for colds, heart problems, cholesterol, etc. Also read that a mixture of honey and cinnamon alone can be applied to skin to clear up blemishes! Wow all these benefits..and cheap too!

THREE things that are very important for everyone to know when making this tea:

1. Pour Boiling water over CINNAMON ONLY. AFTER WATER HAS COOLED to warm, THEN ADD HONEY (RAW unprocessed honey, usually found at health store). DO NOT POUR BOILING WATER OVER HONEY! All the health benefits of honey are lost if you pour boiling water over it.

2. ALWAYS use 2 parts honey and 1 part cinnamon in your tea. For example:
If you use 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon, use 1 teaspoon of honey.

3. SOME types of cinnamon are not pure..OR SAFE. There is an ingredient in some types of cinnamon called "coumarin", which can damage the liver after prolonged use. This does not mean all cinnamon is dangerous. Below is a article on type of cinnamons that are safe and unsafe. I heard that Saigon cinnamon (found at dollar stores and discount stores) is NOT safe. There is also a warning saying that pregnant or nursing women should not consume daily cinnamon. Ceylon cinnamon is the safe cinnamon, made only from the inner bark. Do read your labels!

CINNAMON INFO:

Warnings:
# Cinnamon is obtained from the bark of the cinnamon tree native to Sri Lanka. Ceylon cinnamon is sometimes referred to as "true cinnamon." It is fine, crumbles easily, is less aromatic, and is made only from the inner bark of the tree.

Cassia is regularly sold as cinnamon and is made from the entire bark of the tree. It is stronger and somewhat bitter compared to Ceylon. It contains a chemical called coumarin that can be toxic if taken in large quantities. Small amounts of cassia will not cause any problems. If large doses (about 1/2 teaspoon) are taken regularly, it may be unsafe. Avoid more than a sprinkle of cassia cinnamon if you are pregnant. Ceylon, "true cinnamon," contains hardly any coumarin and is considered safe.

I have been taking 1 tbsp of Bragg Apple cider vinegar, tbsp of raw organic honey and 1 pack of stevia for two weeks now. It has helped me tremendously with my gastrointestinal problems. I just recently added cinnamon to the mix and it tastes 10 times better. It takes the bight out of the vinegar smell.

I have lost a total of 9 lbs and really see the difference in my clothes.

One of nature’s wonder foods is garlic, and it is also beneficial in detoxifying your system and in purifying your blood by aiding digestion. Chop three pods of garlic until fine and swallow it with a glass of water. Regular consumption of garlic will detoxify the stomach by reducing toxins and rejuvenating the blood. Moreover, garlic also promotes good intestinal health by promoting the growth of healthy bacteria.

You make a good point. There has to be some transition. If you just stop a diet and go back to your old ways, you'll just gain the weight back.

And sensible eating and increased activity, weight gain is guaranteed.

I have been on the honey and cinnamon diet for two and a half weeks, the first day I lost 2 lbs, ive lost a total of 13lbs, I've cut my calorie intake as well as stay active as usual. The way i do it is boil 1 teaspoon of cinn. in 1 cup of water and let cool the I strain the cinnamon out of the "tea" and then add 1 tablespoon of honey to it when it is a little cool. I buy regualr pure honey from the store and regular cinnamon powder... Its working for me, but I can usually lose weight quickly. good luck to all! I have found this drink to be kinda addictive. But i really like cinnamon and honey :)

I found out about this on Snopes! It didn't have exact directions, so I've just been adding the honey and cinnamon to hot water with green tea for a little flavor. After 3 days, my clothes were not quite as tight. I have a lot of weight to lose. 50 lbs is just my starting point, so I need something, anything, to get me motivated. I will start preparing it using the recipe provided and let you know what happens.
