You won’t believe how happy I was when I found this amazing healthy yogurt and fruit dessert recipe in an old fitness magazine. I was reading it before my gym class today. When I found it, I simply couldn’t resist the awesome fall flavors of pumpkin and peaches, and of course my favorite yogurt, honey and cinnamon ingredients.
It’s not just some yogurt and fruit quick mix.
It is a well balanced meal. Every fitness fan can have it as a snack a few hours before or after hard workout. As well as every dieter can eat it as the perfect morning or afternoon breakfast.
We all mind what we snack after a hard workout or in between meals. We want low calories, low fats, healthy and tasty meals and snacks… Well, today’s fresh recipe about Yogurt and Fruit Dessert is all we need – healthy and easy to prepare, low calorie snack that is so tasty and yet low fat.
To keep this recipe really healthy and low fat, you need to use low fat yogurt. I know it’s not as sweet and tasty as it’s whole milk equivalent, so let the sweet peaches and exquisite autumn flavor of pumpkin to make it sweet and delicious.
* You can use any other seasonal fruit you have at hand – apples, pears, plums, figs, medlars… or you can combine more that one fruit π
So easy and quick – takes not more than 5 minutes.
The pumpkin should be already boiled.
Peaches should be stoneless and cut in small pieces (leave 2-3 big slices for decoration).
Mix all ingredients in a blender. Start with the pumpkin, then add the curds, yogurt and honey. Finish with the cinnamon.
Finally add the peaches and stir well.
Poor the ready made dessert in a small bowl or cocktail cup, sprinkle some more cinnamon on top.
Add the peach decoration slices and your healthy yogurt and fruit dessert with awesome fall flavor is ready!
