Yesterday was my second day of the 1 week detox diet – Tuesday April 4, 2006.
I didn’t weigh myself because I don’t have so precision scale to register the 1 pound ~ 0.5 kg off my weight. I’ll weigh myself tomorrow and let’s hope I’ll be 2 lbs. off.
The purpose of the 1 week detox diet is to cleanse out your body by eating one kind of food a day for 7 days. The second day you should eat about 750 g = 1.65 pounds of boiled potatoes with jackets, which you must peel before eating. Well, that is the easy part.
The more difficult part is how to prepare the potatoes for eating. I made potato salad with an onion and freshly squeezed lemon juice. It wasn’t very delicious without all other ingredients, but it was great compared to the day before.
Imagine if I was eating real food, not drinking juices and starving. I also drank one cup of coffee in the morning and 1 cup of tea without sugar in the afternoon.
I felt great compared to the day before; almost all bad symptoms were gone except for a light headache and my eyes still hurting a little bit. By the end of the day they disappeared, too.
My body must have released and eliminated lots of toxins the day before, because at that moment I felt almost like flying. I was very happy that I was back to my work with all my desire and energy.
I was ready for the next day, when I should eat only boiled rice all day. Hmm, yummy!
