Hello, it’s me again!
Yesterday was my third day of the 1 week detox diet plan – Wednesday April 5, 2006.
My current weight is 60 kg ~ 132 lbs. and that means I’ve lost 1 kg since the beginning of my diet.
Actually, that was expected, because I’m doing this diet for second time. So far it’s working just the way it should – to lose 0.5 kg a day for the first couple of days.
I hope that by the end of the week I will lose about 3.5 to 4 kg ~ 8 to 9 lbs. at the very least.
The menu for the day wasn’t very tasty – just boiled rice. I used brown rice as it’s recommended in the Macrobiotic Diet.
I boiled 200 g ~ 7 oz of brown rice with 0.5 l ~ 17 US fl oz ~ 1 US pt of vegetable broth. Actually, it smelled quite good before I tasted it 🙂 I am just kidding – it wasn’t that bad.
I had one cup of coffee without sugar in the morning and one in the evening.
At 5:30 pm I went out for a walk with couple of friends. As we talked about my diet they said it’s quite restrictive and offered me to go eat some â€œreal foodâ€. I was not very happy with the idea but after all we went to a near fast food restaurant.
If you think that I couldn’t resist the temptation then you’ll be surprised to find out that I did resist. I just drank my second cup of coffee and felt very happy because I resisted the temptation.
I came home around 8 pm and ate my last portion of rice for the day.
I couldn’t wait for tomorrow, because I was going to eat only fruits – mmm, I love fruits.
