I’m going to show you how to prepare 5 simple fruit smoothie recipes under 300 calories in 5 minutes or less.

In order make a healthy low calorie smoothie, please don’t use sweetened or flavored milk and yogurt, or juices and soda, for that matter!
They all contain extra sugars, or worse – sweeteners, flavors and some other bunch of chemical stuff, which your body doesn’t need.
In order to achieve any weight loss or weight maintenance, you need fresh fruits and vegetables for your smoothies, or frozen ones. Canned are also good, but pay attention on labels and watch out for extra unnecessary sugars and sweeteners. You also need plain milk and yogurt, which of course should be low fat. Water and ice are perfect for the cold smoothie drinks.
Having all of the above in mind, let’s make some low calorie smoothie recipes:

Cut banana in half and blend all ingredients, except ice, in a blender until smooth. Add ice; blend again until the drink gets perfectly smooth. Serve immediately.
Variation:
If you love spinach, you could add some: 1 bunch of spinach will add 80 more calories; but 5 spinach leaves will add only 10 more calories, so you’d be at the edge of 300 calorie limit.
